Amy Louise Hooton

Amy Hooton, abstract painter trained in Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art. Has travelled in Asia extensively, studying Batik in Indonesia and Chinese painting in Beijing. Her art is a mixture of all these influences and over the years has developed into a unique recognizable style.

Mainly abstract, surreal and always colourful. Lively paintings that transport you to another world, away from the rain, cold and into beautiful fantastical worlds of colour, invoking sublime natural phenomenon, surreal galactic landscapes, cosmic outer space and earthly watery coral worlds filled with colour and intricate detail you'll be unable to resist.

Amy’s art is exhibited regularly in a variety of cities across Britain, including London, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, and internationally in San Francisco.
