Druie Bowett

Druie Bowett born 1924-1998 in Ripon North Yorkshire, she studied at Harrogate School of Art and later with Jean-Georges Simon.

Parisian influences are apparent in Bowett’s pictures which while showing a strong command of natural form had a notable pattern element.

She was a member of the Midland Group of Industrial Painters Group, WIAC and other international bodies, also showing at the Royal Academy, Paris Salon, LG, RP, and RSA.
