John Lawrence, Painter in oil and Sculptor in bronze, Lawrence studied at the Bromley College of art and showed at Trafford Gallery, with The Free Painters and Sculptors of which he was a member in France and America. This painting clearly shows us Lawrence’s love of sculpting. The smooth lines and definition make us feel it must be almost a peace of sculpture it self. John Lawrence’s work is held in many private collections Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, Manchester City Art Gallery Bristol. He signs his work with his initials.
