PETER STOPPER

Austria Peter Stopper was born in Linz, Austria on the 9th of January 1957. Peter trained as a goldsmith from a young age and decided to become a full time painter in 1983. He observes landscapes and the transposition of natural motifs; shaping forms with abstract, asymmetric elements that experiment with surfaces and structures. The artist says "Painting is a continuous process of consciousness and perception, which unites and increases the skills and abilities of creativity, craftsmanship, precision, flexibility and coordination".
